Marda Farm
Nestled away in a small village in the Salfit region in Occupied Palestine, Marda Farm draws from more than 10 generations of indigenous agricultural wisdom and traditions.

Marda Farm is a working farm producing for the local community, as well as a demonstration site, teaching and promoting sustainable and regenerative agriculture in Palestine.
Since 2006, Marda Farm has been a reference point for indigenous ecological design systems, as well as a symbol of agro-resistance in Palestine and internationally.
Palestinian olive harvest and olive oil production are extremely endangered.
Farmers face many challenges and risks, and olive trees are constantly destroyed under occupation.
One of the activities of the farm is the production of olive oil using traditional Palestinian methods. We harvest our olives by hand without using any machinery. This way, birds nests are protected, the olive trees are cared for, and Palestinian indigenous harvest methods are preserved.
Our work on the farm also draws from regenerative farming methods such as agroecology, ecological design, sustainability, and permaculture, as well as food sovereignty and land stewardship in the face of the Israeli occupation.
